Some context...

Standing in a friend's house looking out at the misty forest I was entranced by the layers of green, the subtle shifts in color, and the barely visible background. It was refreshing and mystifying in the same breath.

I stopped for a minute and thought about the land I couldn't see but knew was there. A calming wave came over me thinking about the critters and plants behind the veil of the mist; blind to my presence and awareness. I hope they could feel the energy I sent their way.
