Some context...

The hike up Hessie Trail to Lost Lake is one of my favorite hikes. Located near Nederland, Colorado, I love hiking the diverse trail up to the lake and taking in the incredible views.

Lullaby learned to swim at this lake. It holds a special place for me and whenever we go there I find myself standing near or on the floating logs reflecting, listening, and soaking in the immense beauty before me. 

I love our natural world.
